Essie Madison Ave-Hue - Swatches and Reviews

Happy Monday Morning Gamer Girls! I have a ton of stuff to do this morning before I run off to class, I hope everyone else's Monday isn't as rushed as mine is turning out to be!

This morning I have for you swatches and a review for Essie's 2013 Spring collection, Madison Ave-Hue.
This review is coming in a little late, almost a year late, but Essies can normally be found pretty easily after a collection has been out.  And, with this Spring right around the corner maybe you can all find some inspiration for this season!

Maybelline Color Show Street Art - Swatches and Reviews

Today I have for all you Gamer Girls a new top coat collection that Maybelline has added to it's permanent line, Street Art!  I know, everyone is coming out with Splatters this year, it's like the new Crackle or the new Texture.  We get something that takes our nail polish world by force every new year, so I'm willing to take the ride.

Figure Fridays: Kotobukiya Bishoujo Wonder Woman

Welcome to the first Figure Fridays post!

As the title of my little blog alludes to, I am a Gamer Girl myself.  I'm also into all sorts of nerdy, geeky, and otaku style loves.  So what does all this mean?  Well in addition to nail polish I am also a collector of geeky statues!
I decided that I wanted to share a little of my love affair of all things cute and PVC with you all on Fridays as a fun way to send off onto the weekend.  I hope you all enjoy this fun weekly trip away from nail polish.

Today I'm starting with a rather popular character Wonder Woman!

Tri-Polish Challenge Week #3 - Red, Orange, and Yellow

Happy Wednesday!

My poor computer!  So, I haven't been able to post in the last couple of days because my blogging computer feel victim to a spill from Mr GGWC excitement while playing a game of Waves (if you're into fun twitch based Astroid shooters this is well worth checking out!).  A full bottle of Angry Orchard Crisp Apple ended up in a computer, annnnnd we had a sad Callie.

Everything is back to normal though, so here is a very short sweet post about my Tri-Polish Challenge Manicure for week #3!

Golden Oldie Thursday; Week Two! - Stripes

Happy Thursday Gamer Girls, almost the weekend!  I can't wait for this weekend, Mr GGWC has been working a ton this week on a project for work so he has been home very little.  It will be nice to just hang around a little with him this weekend and just relax in the same room!

Today I bring you week two of the GOT challenge that I am doing with the other girls over at Crumpet's Nail Tarts.

This week we have to concur Stripes.  I'm actually a pretty big fan of stripes and taped manicures, so this one should be fun!

Tri-Polish Challenge Week #2 - Red, Orange, and Yellow

Hey all you Gamer Girls!

So today is going to be a quick fast post explaining the challenge that I am going to be participating in for Tuesdays, The Tri-Polish Challenge!  So this challenge is to use only three colors in a manicure that are given to you.  Approved accent colors can be used, but for the most part is needs to be made up of the colors for the month.  You do 3-4 manicures in that month in the chosen colors, pretty easy right?  This is my second challenge from the Crumpet's Nail Tarts Facebook group and it sounds like fun!

With Red, Orange, and Yellow being the colors for this month I feel like we are starting off with some really great complementary colors.  Unfortunately, I am starting this month off on week number 2, but I plan on going strong though the whole rest of the challenge.

On to some nails!

Sinful Colors Ahoy There/Sail La Vie - Swatches and Review

Happy Monday Gamer Girls!

Part of my plan on working on this blog is going to be clearing out my hard drive of all the pictures I've taken of swatches that I've just never posted.  I have something like 20gb of pictures I've taken, and probably enough content to post pictures for the next month five days a week.  Unfortunately, that does mean that some of these swatches are going to be rather old as this pictures may have been taken up to a full year ago!

The collection I'll be sharing with you this fine Monday morning will be the Sinful Colors Ahoy There/Sail La Vie collection from Summer of 2013.  It may be a bit late in coming out, but these colors are worth the share!  And, with as often as Sinful Colors re-releases shades in collections some of these might pop up from time to time.

Golden Oldie Thursday; Week One! - Pink

Hello lovely Gamer Girls!

Happy New Year!

So New Year, new resolutions.  One of mine is definitely going to be working on this little piece of the internet.  To help me in easing my way into it I have decided to work on two challenges this month.
^_~ Hows that for "easing into it" Ha!

So for Thursdays we have The Crumpet's Golden Oldie Thursdays.  This is a pretty easy challenge to follow in that all you have to make sure to do is follow the prompt for the day, make sure the polish is at least a year old, and have at!  I like how easy this one should be for me to follow along with, so hopefully this will help me build my confidence.  Sadly, I'm a day late already... but here it is!

I am also trying out a new lighting setup with some of these pictures.  I'm not really sold on it yet, but I know trying to rely on the sunlight was really bring down my nail blogging.  ^_^;; I'll figure this out!

Anyway, on to the nails!
